Senior Manager - Sales Training-1467 - ASTD
Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Accountable for providing leadership for the creation, implementation and maintenance of Consumer and Employer Market sales training programs, including the Sales Talent Management Program. The key responsibilities include creating and managing integrated Program plans to carry out the goals and strategy and oversight of program execution. The position will have direct management responsibilities of trainers and instructional designers as well as training program participants. Establishing integration and coordination processes with other business areas, vendors and initiatives to monitor progress and prioritizations. ? Responsible for the development and ongoing, end-to-end management of the program. ? Responsible for managing and training the newly hired candidates while in the program. ? Delivery of training programs specific to new products and services, systems, processes and tools in support of new sales and retention of Individual and Group business. ? Manages the program budget, including associated vendor costs and contracts. ? Responsible for vendor relationship management, including contract adherence, payment reconciliation, performance, and continuous improvement. ? Responsible for program performance, including performance results, vendor performance and adherence to established SLA?s, ROI, etc. ? Coordinates with all impacted business areas to develop and maintain appropriate program adherence and reporting. ? Invoke corrective action plans for program or vendor for missed targets. ? Responsible for all established processes associated with the program: e.g. Vendor Management, Contract Adherence, Program/Content maintenance and enhancements, etc. ? Responsible for continuous improvement of the program. ? Responsible for reporting effectiveness of the program including vendor performance. ? Act as direct liaison between the business areas and vendor components of the program. ? Translate corporate strategies into tactical application of program management. ? Manage multiple complex issues and projects simultaneously. ? Work collaboratively with other areas of the organization: Retail Centers, UW, Marketing, Sales and Operations.
